C3 Youth Soar with Bell Flight
On Wednesday, 17 March 2021, Calvary Community Care (C3) partnered with aerospace company, Bell Flight, to give youth a personal experience of what flying in a helicopter is like.
Over 20 students from Anderson Secondary School started the day with an introduction and tour of the state-of-the-art facility in Seletar Aerospace Park. The students were also able to interact with the Bell Flight instructors and it was the highlight of their trip!
In short, it was a dream come true for the youth who imagined themselves as pilots for the day. During this visit, the youth were able to explore various opportunities in the aerospace industry by engaging in the activities. They stepped into helicopters, fiddled with the controls and even managed to immerse themselves in a flight simulator experience!
The visit to Bell Flight is only one of the many youth programmes C3 organises. The aim of these programmes are to develop Aspirations, Confidence and Excellence (ACE) in youth. Thank you Bell Flight for giving the C3 youth such an unforgettable and uplifting experience.
